O.C.D. ????????????

Well sometimes think I am a little OCD.......LOL!!! Today we woke up & decided to do some spring cleaning outside the house in the yard. Let me see I am gonna make a list and see just how stuff we got done........LOL!!!!

-planted grass around the Beauty shop
-put my sign on a sturdy sign frame
-planted this plant that Mom gave us, in two places
-cleaned out the side flower bed
-raked leaves & sticks
-burned them
-pushed the cable cord in the attic to make it look neater on the outside of the house
-unscrewed a screw that the cable guy left on the outside of our house that looked tacky
-leaved out the ground in the back yard in several places
-cleaned out a scrapbook bag that got something spilled in it and threw away what was messed up and kept what was good
- cleaned off the back porch
-cleaned the outside fan
-put away all the toys & threw away what wasn't good
-refilled the humming bird feeder
-picked up the trash
-swept down the house & removed cobweds


Okay I think that is it................lol!!!!!! I do feel better to write everything down & just look at it..............LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like we had a productive day!

Hello Spring!!!!

Well hello everybody it has been a great while since I have logged on here on my blog and posted anything at all about my life. Let me see where should I start, my internet got messed up about a month and a half ago. So that is the first thing. It took about 6 calls to Windstream and a visit or two from them coming here to get the lines straightened out. They finally got it all worked out and now I can log into my Blog, Myspace,e-mail,and surf the web as I need to!!!! YAY!!! That was the most drag on, drag on stuff to ever try to straighten out with being busy with the kids, show animals, etc!!

Well and of course there is the county show starting today. We have meet & greet tonight from 7-9. Then Wed 7am check in the pig. Rabbits are that night. Then Thur show the pig again. Busy Busy Busy!!!

As far as my beauty shop is concerned .....I Have landscaping now...YAY!! It is beautiful!!! My wonderful hubby did a great job!!! It is amazing how that really finished things off!!

We also have redone Caleb's bedroom. He got new pant on the walls and ceiling, new fan, new bed, plantation blinds, new curtain rods & panels,and a new rug!!! YAY he is sooooo proud. He had the same room for about 4 years. He needed a spruce up!!

We have a new tankless hot water heater too it is in our laundry room. That freed up about 3 x 3 foot space extra for my scrapbook area in the laundry room!!! YAY I have been working on the scrapbook area too.I can't wait to get that done to post new pics!!! (There is a $300 Tax credit on new hot water heaters for 2009, this is a good year to do that if you need a new one, just alittle note there!!)

Let me see here what else......Oh I can't forget most of all how great not good but great God is.....During this economic time God still provides.....I haven't had very many slow times at all. I have been able to stay the same or better with my clientle here at my new shop. God is soooo good, I know that there are soo many that are loosing jobs left & right and I just thank God for providing for me!!

Okay I think that is all for now LOL!! That is all in the Life of Sherrie for the past 2 months LOL!! HAPPY SPRING!!!!

2009.................

Well the new year is finally here. I have some new resolutions that i am going to stick to this year and accomplish. One of those is losing weight. I started early on that about a month ago i joined Faith Fitness. I really like it and plan on continuing it. I have started, for a week now and have been on a liquid diet. I have been drinking for breakfast and lunch then eating sensible for supper. No sodas just plenty of water. I really think that changing my eating habits all together will make a big difference. I already feel better!! I have lost about 8lbs already!! This is even more in sight now that all that good holiday cooking is over with!! HAppy New Year!!

2009 almost here......

Well, everything in 2008 is fixin to be in the past!! We are about to go into yet another year!! With Christmas over there is alot of cleaning up to do and doing that Winter cleaning!!!! Tomorrow it is back to work after a very long weekend!!! WOW, I don't get that very often!!! Well Eddie go me a Canon Rebel XSI for Christmas and I don't have one clue how to work it!! But i can't wait to use it!! Well my goal for 2009 is to get my scrapbook room in order, so I can start back to my hobby!! Plus afew others that I have in mind!! Well HAPPY end of DECEMBER!!

Christmas is almost here....

Well I am so excited about my first open house here at my new Salon. This is open to everyone past, present, or current client. I wanted to send out a Thank you and a invitation for me to thank you personally, for your business in 2008!!! I can't believe that it has 3 1/2 months that I have been open now. I hope that you can make it by to see the new place and gra a little treat!!!

Christmas is almost here....

Well I took another trip to Killeen to celebrate Izzy's 7th birthday party. We went skating there in Killeen and the kids had a blast!!! Caleb caught on real fast!!! I had the opportunity to do some more Christmas shopping too!! I love having lots of choices!! The bigger cities can really spoil you ! I still need to make one more trip to finish up and I will be complete and ready for Santa :-)
I have Mon. off to bake and I am working Tues & Wed then I will be off for 4 days.....wow. What can I do to enjoy my time off well maybe RELAX!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
